Default Hello, Looking for friends so we can support each other and reach our goals

My name is Anna. I am 21 and mother to a 8 month old baby girl. I have been

heavy all my life but I told myself I would never be 300lbs. Needless to say I

failed and am 320 at the moment. A year and 1/2 ago I started my weight

loss journey form 280 to fit. I lost 25lbs and found out I was pregnant.

56lbs from baby 15 from birth control and all the weight form bad eating

habits have lead me here.

I am determined to eventually not be considered over weight but Im

gonna do this the right way so I can keep the weight off. I have to set an

example for my daughter and I want to live to see her babies and be healthy

and by her side for many decades.

If there is anyone out there who wants to push me and help keep me on track

I would really appreciate it. I will do the same for you. Lets share our

workouts and food plan and REACH OUR GOALS!!!!

Definitely! I know how you feel. I was at my "highest" 245 pounds a few years ago before I got pregnant... well post baby I put myself last and when I started my weight loss journey this year I started at 268 pounds! Only 4 away from my highest pregnancy weight. I am now dealing with some tendon injuries so exercise is limited for me but through diet I have lost 12pounds so far- I am now at 254 by calorie counting. Let be motivation buddies!

Congrats on the baby and your decision to live a healthier life style.

I downloaded a free app on my phone, which helps me stay on track with my calories. So far I'm doing good, just hoping that energy & determination doesn't fizzle out. That's why I joined the forum...

I noticed there was a group of people on here that share their daily foods, which sounds like a great way to make yourself accountable.

I'm curious how often everyone weighs themselves... I know it can be disappointing when its slow, so I don't want to do it too often...

Hi guys

SugarBudgie: Lets be buddies I need all the motivation I can get. Im also good at pushing others I think lol Sure my bf would say so

Today I did a 7 min morning workout
Walked 2 miles in 32 minutes

Breakfast: Cabbage with salt nd pepper hamburger meat with no grease

Lunch: Same as breakfast

Dinner: Cabbage with salt and pepper chicken breast no grease. Spinach salad with Ranch and vinegar with tomato

I have almost drank 3 liters of water about 1/2 a liter to go

My plan is not to eat after 7pm
Drink 3 liters of water each day
Exercise to burn at least 350 calories a day
Eat 1400 calories a day or less

Atm im staring at a Hershey's milk chocolate bar

If you guys want we can post our meals and exercise for each day in this thread and keep one another on track

Congrats on having babies!! If you are looking to change your life style like my self is to not do any crazy diets. I have done them all atkins clenses etc etc... I have found that first i dont ever deprive my self anything. Once i start saying i cant have something i want it even more and i will eat more of it than if i just let my self have it. Second and this is for me i dont walk around saying i am on a diet because once i start doing that people will watch everything you eat. I dont put pressure on my self i dont set crazy goals for my self. I started in nov and to date i have lost 24 lbs. ON exercise i have a treadmill in my house i find it so boring even in front of the tv. Now i ordered zumba hoping to get my dance on and hopefully it keeps me interested. Everyday i allow my self 1200 calories to lose weight 1600 to stay the same depedning on how i feel that day. Its a day by day thing. If i lose one pound for the month i dont look at it like only one pound i look at it like hey one pound cool! Just stay positive!! Give it time and it will happen!

Hi anna, you sound really positive, keep up the good work theres gonna be those difficult times, but dont get discouraged, just stay on plan and you'll see the rewards of your hard work.
I eat 1200 cals a day and work out 5x a week. I've never been as motivated and dedicated as I do now and that sound like how you are as well
Let me know how your 6 week body makeover is!!
Have a great night.
