Happy Thursday!

I was laying in bed, listening to sleet tapping against the windows, but by the time I got showered and dressed, it was out of here. Thank goodness! It does sound like it's going to be a grey, rainy day, but I won't that get me down. It's my Friday!!!!!

So what's on everyone's agenda for the last Thursday in January?

Hey Cottage,
Once again, I woke at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Dragged myself out of bed at 6:10 but need coffee! I'm glad January will be over soon. It always seems to me to be the 'hump' month - once it's done, spring seems around the corner.

On tap today: work, and a playdate after school. I'm trying to get my eating back on track but it's hard. I just can't seem to focus. Hope everyone has a great day!

Here's your coffee, Matilda. I can't really complain about this winter so far, and hope February is kind to us, too. I always feel that once we're in February, we're almost home free.
Wishing you a good, OP day today. Good luck!

Good morning Got everything set here so DW can grab some more sleep and I can jump on here

Cottage - This year I've really noticed every little bit of added daylight so that's helping. Our winter has been almost non-existent. I just hope March isn't full of big storms. I hate the late ones. I'm ready to start garden planning.

Matilda - I'm struggling with the eating thing too. We can do this!

Not a lot different today. It's the last medical appointment at home. DW is doing well enough that we are switching to regular appointments. It will be nice for her to get out of the house. I was able to set-up PT just a few miles from home, so not too bad for me either. So far just one a week up at the medical center. My big adventure today will be a trip to the little co-op closer to home. Still don't want to travel all the way to my usual store but my coffee stash is getting low and running out of good coffee would be disastrous

Happy Thursday friends

Good Morning, Ladies. Ground Hog Day is one of my favorite days -- spring is around the corner. I can't complain about the weather here. It's been so warm, things are blooming.

The kitchen project is moving along well. Jeff should have all the whole tiles down today. This weekend, we'll cut all the tiles that go around the edges. I'm ready for my house to be back in order. Maybe my eating will get back in order after that.

Did you read my Auston story on Facebook? Night before last, we were driving to Birmingham. Auston told Jeff: "You need to break up with mom and date Luke's mom. If you marry Luke's mom, he will be my brother." I'm feeling the love!

Good morning. I bounced out of bed this morning after a good night's sleep and am bright-eyed and bushytailed, ready to start the day. (Note to Self: Shave "bushy" legs.)

A good but busy day ahead with a morning of household odds and sods and then lunch with my sister Joan. I have not seen her since the summer (she travels a lot) and want to catch up on her last trip which was a month in Tasmania! I need to see her more often - if I can catch up with her. On Facebook a friend said "Sisters are different flowers from the same garden" and that is true of my sister and me. We have the same basic attitudes and beliefs but very different lifestyles.

The only good thing about February is Groundhog Day, Valentines Day and a shorter month - although we get the 29th this year. I always try to be extra busy this month to get it over with. This year isn't busy aside from the usual taxes and other financial stuff and I do have a special visitor coming mid-month for a longish weekend. Silly Cottage wants to experience winter in Delta and I'm really looking forward to seeing her. Maybe the skating rink in my lane will still be there - it's pretty scary right now but we have a bit of a melt coming on the weekend.

Time to crank up the day. Maybe I'll have time to do my nails in honour of seeing my sister.

Take a little "me" time too if you can find a few minutes.

Good Morning

I'm dragging this morning but did get some sleep last night. I'm off to the pool then have a big restructuring meeting for the therapy dog group. I'm not excited which may be contributing to the drag.

I'd better get my smoothie going which will help me to feel better, too.

Have a great day everyone!

good morning,

not much new here just keeping really busy and so glad January is almost over. DH got his early birthday present a kindle so that has kept him occupied for a while. He is also almost finished building a lovely side table for our kitchen.
No snow here but maybe it will come yet and neighbours will be their monies worth for the snow removal service.
Chelby - love your Auston story, you could almost write a book.
Have a great day everyone
take care

Good morning!

Cyndi - Glad to hear that she's doing better

I'm off to my traditional yoga this morning. She's is moving us to a larger room today which will be nice because I'm a fan of my personal space. The chair yoga yesterday was very much geared to seniors. One person even had a walker! But it was good for a stretch. I probably won't go back. I laughed (inside) when there was one pose that the instructor said to modify if you have high blood pressure or are pregnant. I am sure I was by far the youngest woman in there and the only person younger was male!

Good morning,

Working from home today have to take DD2 to periodontist so they can nip her gums between her two front teeth to close the gap and allow her other teeth to come down, so I am off at 12:30 p.m. to pick her up.

It is a gray day here has rained for over 24 hours drab just glad it isn't snow or we would have more than a foot of snow.

Weezle- sorry for your loss of your kitty yesterday- it is hard to have to put down a loved one.

Have a great day everyone

I miss you all!

There is a lot going on right now and I can't really speak to it at the moment but will soon. 98% on plan (maybe too many OP foods at times, not enough veggies) but trucking along.

Hope you are all well!
