But, you DID do okay. The scale is not the be-all end-all of what is success.
You might've had the most beautifully perfect week ever in your entire life and -still- have seen a gain on the scale. Celebrate that you ate well. Celebrate that you moved more. Celebrate all the good you're doing for yourself, and celebrate that you won't let one weigh-in keep you down!

Oh goodness! Sounds like the scale is crazy... Just keep on with the healthy choices. I'm sure when you get back to your normal scale on a regular basis it'll show the truth.

Awesome job deciding to add in more movement and exercise

You'll definitely be able to do it.
I've found that when I exercise regularly that it helps me make better food choices, and making better food choices makes me want to exercise regularly. It's a good way to keep level.
And good luck to your friend on her journey, too! It's always good to hear about people making healthy changes in their lives.

I absolutely hear you on how the "no structure" days can add up. Glad that you were able to pull yourself up and get back to the structure
And I hope that you're able to get rid of those sinus headaches!

My brother and his fiancée arrived yesterday afternoon. I do like having them visit from time to time.
Unfortunately, the temptations began immediately upon their arrival. My brother bought me a bag of chocolate. A mini-bag, but a bag none-the-less. I thanked him, but I'll need to hide it or discretely get it away from me. My mother sent them up with snack foods, too.
Then they discussed really wanting pizza and wings last night. *facedesk* Apparently they were really set on having it. So. What I did was I ordered them, and my husband some pizza and wings, and I ordered myself a nicely sized grilled chicken salad.
I ate my salad. They ate all the wings, and most of the pizza. I didn't have any of it. Leftover pizza is still in the fridge, but I'm positive my brother will finish that off today.
I'm very proud of myself. *pats self on back*
