Default New to 3FC

Not new to attempting weight loss, but new to 3FC. I've fluctuated with weight my whole adult life. 150 at my smallest, and now at my heaviest. I finally have decided that I'm SO over this feeling of being miserable and no confidence. I just started my new "diet and exercise plan" yesterday and am looking for some support and maybe be a support for others! Glad to see you all here and that there's a community like this available!

I am eating max 1,000 cals a day. There are so many conflicting opinions on this (eating below 1,200). I guess I'll find out shortly if it will work for me or not.

Welcome to the forum!
1,000 is kind of low, especially for your size. I started out at 1300-1400 per day and had success there. Like srm60 said, experiment with the number.

Jessica, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!
