Let's do this!

  • Hello everyone *waves*

    have been lurking for a while but introducing myself now

    I lost over 1 stone last year but found it hard to maintain and now almost 2 years later have put it on again (not quite all of it but not letting it get any further!)

    I am trying to become a professional singer and I will need lots of energy for the stage- therefore the weight and unhealthy food has to go!

    My evetual goal is about 10 stone (I am assuming I am around 12 at the moment-scales broke a while ago haha). But I am taking it nice and slow, calorie counting and after my last try have realised that eating non-diet food is just part of life

  • Welcome to the forum! I am a calorie counter too and you got it, non diet food is a part of life, we just have to make it less a part of our lives.

  • Talisha, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the Calorie Counters and the UK Chicks
