"Just what you want to be, you will be in the end."
Dear Fellow Victors,
A couple of weeks ago, I recalled the haunting melody of Nights in White Satin, by the Moody Blues. There was a line I forgot, so I looked up a video of a performance. I saw on from 1967, when Justin Hayward was a very young man and very handsome. Those wors, "Just what you want to be, you will be in the end" have stayed with me.
What do I want to be? My answer is that ...I want to be a fit, healthy and slender forty four year old woman. I want my husband to be moved by my beauty on the inside and feel thankful for my beauty on the outside. I want our four children, ages twenty down to fourteen, to rest easy that their mother takes care of herself and can for quite some time
I am Mairin and I am really happy to have found this forum. We can do THIS!! We deserve it. Our families and loved ones deserve us at our best. That best certainly will vary due to metabolisms, health issues and genetics...but, might as well begin were we are. Our weight is as bad as it is going to get and we are still alive...so I figure things are looking up from here!
