"lack of thin-ness" issue, I will not call myself fat. I don't know how much I currently weigh as I don't own a scale, but the last time I checked I was 178 and I am 5 feet 2 inches. I simply can't do this on my own and desperatly need support! I have never been on a "diet"!
Jen, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!

There are many types of plans, so take some time to check out the different forums to see what feels right to you. I do lower carb calorie counting using My Fitness Pal app. This is a trial and error process, just keep going and you will succeed!
