Hi,
My name is Jon and I'm trying to get to my target before my wedding in May. I weighed myself in last August, for the first time after a couple of years of steady weight gain and a particularly binge-y 6-months, and found that I was at my heaviest ever of 280 lbs. My goal is to be within 200-220 lbs (college weight), and I got down to 245 by the end of November (even lost 3 lbs over Thanksgiving!) but I've since plateaued.
I'm not following any specific plan or method, just running (when I can, my job/commute takes about 12-14 hours out of the day) and watching my calories (no sodas, fast food, limiting sweets), but I'm having a hard time maintaining "diet discipline" when I'm hungry most of the time so I figured I'd reach out for some support and found this site.
