Post Avoiding low fat food.

Hi

I started on Step 1 today. Have been reading the book for a few days now but wanted the holidays to get past before I started with some sincerity. I am so glad to find this forum. I am eager to get to my 4th day as I know the first 3 days would be miserable. I am a vegetarian 2 days a week so its going to be hard to get enough protein I guess, specially in Step 1.
I am going to avoid the sugar substitutes (except stevia, may be) and the low fat products and also any processed foods (as I heard that our body cannot deal with processed foods and that's going to hinder fat loss) I believe its still going to work. I am sure someone out there tried this path before, it would be great to get any feedback on that.

I am going to follow this forum closely. Good luck everyone.

Smura, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering arouns specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!

I wondered what plan you are on, too. If you want feedback on a particular diet it is important to know which one you wre following.

Oh sorry about that, I just assumed that this was for Metabolism Miracle diet as thats what I was googling and it directed me to this site. I am in step 1 of Metabolism Miracle diet (Diane Kress). Thank you all for your response.
