Default 300+ Wellness Goals-January 2012

Here's how it works: Everyone of us has wellness goals. Break those goals up into small, achievable steps and challenge yourself to meet your goal by following those steps. Your goal can be anything;a number of pounds lost; please keep it reasonable and safe, dietary goals, activity goals, goals to change your mindset, etc. Just share what steps you are taking to meet your goal(s) Let's all support and encourage each other on this life long journey. Don't get discouraged if you don't meet your goal, just keep on challenging yourself.

My goals for this month should be very attainable.

1. Lose 5lbs
2. Try at least one new veggie
3. maintain a positive outlook on life
4. no eating out

My goals this month should be easy...... as they say, easier said than done.

1. Drink more water, daily
2. NO eating out.
3. MOVE more (anything is better than what I have been....NONE)
4. Find an accountability sister or family! (could be you!) *smile*

I am setting the following goals for January:

1. Drink water daily, limiting soda to 2 per day. (Small changes, right?)
2. Exercise at least 3 times per week.
3. Take my lunch to work at least 3 times per week.

Since I'm just starting out, I think these are attainable and will make a big difference.

My ultimate goal is to get below 270 by March 31.
To get there I need to
-track everything, everyday
-eat five fruits/veggies daily
-drink at least 64 oz water everyday
-get 30 minutes if activity/week

I have several goals for January...

1. Exercise at least 30 minutes 5 days a week
2. Sleep 6-8 hours a night
3. Eat 5 fruits and veggies a day
4. Eat breakfast everyday

1. Take my vitamin daily.
2. Drink 64 ounces of water a day.
3. Workout 2-3 days a week.
4. Take my lunch 3 days a week.
5. Track my food 6 days a week.

My goals:

1. Get the 660 min exercise per month I tried for in December (stupid virus).

2. Meet my first goal of 299 pounds.

3. Get back on my personal calorie goal. I was fine until I got a cold, time to get back on track.

1. Drink at least 64 oz of water a day.
2. Track every calorie through livestrong.com/myplate.
3. Remain UNDER daily calorie goal.
4. Exercise four days a week.

Lots of goos goals on here! I hope everyone is off to a good start.
I am so proud of myself. I tracked everythng I ate yesterday and stayed rught where I needed to be with my points, I took my vitamin, I exercised (both cardio and strengthening), and the house is clean and I have have 4 loads of laundry washed with only one left to be folded. I have taken my vitamin today and have tracked what I have eaten so far. I need to work on the water but I have stuck to unsweet tea (versus my love of sweet tea). I LOVE the new year and new start!!! Have a great day!!

I'm brand new here and want to get right in there with the goals for January!!

1. No more soda that isn't at least diet soda.
2. At least 1 bottle of water per day
3. No snacks from the vending machines at work.
4. Limit my eating out to 3-4 times this month instead of the typical 3-4 per week.

Phew, I can tell I did not stay on plan for the last few weeks. This is my first day POP & I am hungry! But I'm actually kind of glad that my tummy's growling, cause that means I'm not stuffing my face every hour on the hour.

I really had to ponder this ... but I've decided what my goals are for this month:

1. Journal where I am on the hunger scale when I think about food and when I eat.
2. Cut out the mid-week cocktails.
3. Cut out the sodas and snacks at work. (We have a very stocked kitchen and I helped myself a little too much over the past month.)
4. Track water intake.
