Hi, I am new to 3fc but NOT new to being fat. This is my height weight currently 225 :'( my lowest being three years ago before my pregnancy at 160. I really want some friends to motivate me and for me to help motivate too! I am very serious about loosing this weight, it HAS to be gone so I can be happy and healthy for my three year old daughter, myself and my husband. THANK YOU!

Beachblubber, I think you're being a little hard on yourself. Even your userID is a harsh. Being fat doesn't make us bad people. It's a temporary condition that can easily be changed. We are not bodies, we are souls made of light and love. Lighten up on yourself and that will make your child and husband happy! The rest will come in due time.

I came across this site a few weeks ago - I've been unhappy with my weight for awhile, I motivate myself for a few months and get discouraged when i don't see the results I want... I just stepped on the scale this evening and I'm over 200 pounds today, standing 5'1 and 28years old... That's the last straw for me - I thought this site would help me stay focused and support me... AND the first thing I see is your post, we're in the same boat and I hope we can go through this weight loss together with the support of the others! Has anyone ever tried medifast? I just purchased it as they had a gluten free "mealplan" (if you call those meals?) and it looks like something I can follow as I never have time to sit down and eat real meals through out th day... Also, where do I get one of those weight loss tickers? those seem fun!
