Default Hello Again!

Hi everyone,

My name's Sophie, I'm 26 & i'm from Chorley in Lancashire. I used to post here about two year's ago & with all the help and support I manged loose just over 5 stone going from 221lbs (size 22) to 146lbs which put me at a size 14-12.

Well now i'm back + some extra pounds! I recently gave birth to my second daughter, (Matilda Alice who is now 5 weeks old tomorrow & is an absolute little sweetie pie!) with whom I unfortunately had a VERY bad pregnancy. I suffered severely from a condition called SPD with effects your pelvis & was unable to even walk as of 22 weeks pregnant. Well the combination of absolutely no exercise along with the constant pregnancy hunger has of course resulted in the weight piling on & I gained just under 4 stone.

So i'm back ladies! I few things are different from last time i was here - I'm now married, I've moved home, and of course we have the new addition to the family! And I'm now at a starting weight of 181lbs. I've already lost 13lbs since having Matilda but i'm finding it very hard to stay focused on top of everything else.

Can't wait to get to know everyone again

Oh & i'll include a picture of my girls just for fun! Tabitha & baby Matilda

Welcome back Sophie - your girls look gorgeous!

I've been battling away slowly for a while now but am getting there. I've been trying to treat it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet and that seems to be working for me. I think the secret is to just keep plugging away at it and don't beat yourself up for slipping up. With two little girls you're probably very busy and it's hard to focus with so much going on.
