Hi there! I'm new so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Niki. I just turned 26. I live in Iowa. I have PCOS. I am on 1000mg of Metformin once a day. My husband and I started eating better a few years ago. He is kicking butt. I lost about 30pounds last year, but have gained it back. I need to get the weight off to be healthier, but also to have a baby. Hopefully I can find the extra encouragement and support I need here. I do really well at home, but when I'm on my own I have no willpower and I will sneak junk.
I am starting a Pilates class this week and also going to start working out at Curves for Women 4-5 times a week with a friend.
I would love tips from other women with PCOS about what they eat, etc. Thanks!
I am also starting a blog, just mostly to keep myself accountable for eating, exercise, etc- nikers85.wordpress.com.

I have PCOS. It doesn't need to prevent you from achieving your goals, you may just need to do a little tweaking of your plan. Do head on over to the "Dieting with Obstacles" PCOS forum to check it out.
We have a ton of other groups and clubs as well, so look around, find a spot, and jump on in. Can't wait to get to know you better!
