Yep - like kristen81985 said - you, me, and millions of others!
I'm definitely in the "full-means-my-stomach-hurts" camp. No matter how hard I try, the many-small-means approach simply does not work for me. It just sets me up for failure. If I try to eat smaller meals more frequently, it's true, I never get hungry. But I almost never eat because I'm hungry anyway - I eat because I simply want to stuff my face - so that doesn't address the issue and I pig out eventually whether I'm hungry or not. So I go the intermittent-fasting way, and eat meals that are closer to my "normal" size (though not as enormous as I might prefer) during a smaller time window in the day. That's what works for me, personally.
One of my favorite quotes, in the saddest possible way, is from my favorite comedian - Louis C.K. He said, "I don't stop eating when I'm full! The meal isn't over when I'm full! The meal is over when I hate myself!"
And that, unfortunately, is kind of how it works for plenty of us. Just have to stay the course and keep trying different ways of managing it until you find the one that clicks, I guess!
