Default Anyone go to meetings at night vs. mornings?

Nights are more convenient for me b/c I don't have to bring kids but I'm worried about getting frustrated with my weight depending on what I ate that day and all. Do you really get better readings at a morning meeting or am I worried for nothing? I'm trying out a mom and me meeting this morning but I'd rather not make this my normal meeting b/c it gets in the way of my exercise time. Thanks for any input!

I like the Saturday morning meeting, I was going to a noon meeting close to work but I my wieght was all over the place. When I started the AM meeting, it's a little more consistant. I just have to remember to go home and eat breakfast before I do my grocery shopping.

It is easier to go to a morning meeting. I go on Saturday morning before I eat or drink anything. I wear the same thing every week (in winter I transition to heavier clothes and expect a gain that week).

20 years ago, when I became a lifetime member, I went to a meeting after work. I tried as best I could to wear the same clothes each week -- or at least something similar of the same weight. I tried to be consistent with what I ate on weigh in days. I would only eat breakfast and then lunch and would eat the same type of food and then wouldn't eat or drink much after lunch. Some of that helped me to be more consistent.

However, I had many more weight fluctuations when I was going at the end of the day and that did bother me. That said, I still was able to get to lifetime going at the end of the day so it didn't derail me.

I go at 6 in the evening. I really try not to eat too terribly much before WI, but it's really just a superstitious thing. I like my evening meeting, it gives me something to look forward to that day.

(Not a morning person) I've tried the saturday morning but the people there were much too perky for me.

I don't have a lot of choice for meeting times, there are two meetings, one at my workplace and one a town over about 10 miles away. They are both at night. I've tried every combination of eating/drinking to get me to weigh in, usually it ends up being eat normally with an early lunch and the kitchen closes at 12:00 noon.
I bring water and a snack to my meeting because I'm always dying of thirst and starving by the time 4:30 rolls around.
And I am superstitious, I wear a skirt every week because that's what I wore the first week, but I also layer up when it's colder and shed the layers when I get on the scale.
