Default Help-How to find motivation?

Hello all,
I have recently re-started my weight loss journey and I think this time I am actually serious about it. How do I know? Well, I've been at it for 3 weeks already. To some of you, that may not sound like a lot, but to some others I think you know what I mean. Every other time I would say "okay, i'm finally going to do it" it would last a week max and I'd get bored and forget all about it.

I have been trying to eat healthier, by using myfitnesspal and counting calories by logging food and exercise so that's a big step. But what I am really struggling with is exercising. I usually get about 3 days in and then have been out of town on the weekend so I don't get any in then. On those 3 days I have been doing the 30DS but I want to do more, I'm not sure if that 20 minute work out is enough. But I am having trouble finding the motivation to do more, when I finish all I want to do is shower and get on and do all of the things I need to do in my day.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can push myself to work out for at least an extra 20 minutes? Or just what you do when you want to stop?

Thanks

Getting of the couch and convincing myself is the hardest part for me,but I know that once I get going I will get into the groove.

I find that making a good playlist of music that gets me excited helps alot. I usually select about 4-5 songs that I love and tell myself that I will workout for the length of the total 5 song playlist.

Give that a shot

If you want to quit after 20 minutes of 30DS then maybe it's not for you. It's great exercise, but there are also lots of other things or different videos that you can do for exercise. The key is finding something you like... if 30DS is boring to you than try something else. Maybe Billy Blanks Tae Boe, or Zumba, or one of those intensely choreographed cardio videos from the FIRM. Personally I like going to classes at the gym. At home I can stop a DVD right in the middle if I don't feel like finishing, but I would never walk out in the middle of an exercise class full of people at the gym.

And congratulations... I understand that 3 weeks is a huge deal, I'm one of those
