Good Morning Ladies.
It is almost 11 a.m..where is everybody?

I finished my 3 mile tape and have done some housework & laundry. I love having that exercise out of the way! This morning I actually caught up on some reading as challenging as it was.while walking in place.............but hey.whatever it takes!

I am so excited because my friend Linda that was in intensive care & on a respirator.gets to go home today......5 weeks ago today she went to the hospital and has spent the last week in a local rehab center. Prayers & Faith pulled her through! Now she needs to get stronger so she can have surgery on her heart once again. Hopefully in 2 months she will be able to have the surgery! Praise God!

My daughter is going through depression again.for those of you that believe in the POWER of prayer please pray for her. She has four children who need her! We all understand it isnt something you just "snap out of"!Much deeper than that!

I hope this is a good day for everyone...............when I feel down I count all my blessings and realize I have so much to be thankful for.Life is worth living and is never hopeless even though we all experienceh "battles.."! We are all worthy in HIS sight!

Thanks Cin for your words of encouragement! That is great news about your friend Linda! Please know that I will be praying for your daughter!!! Please keep us posted.

How in the world do you read while you are walking in place??? I would get dizzy and fall over I think. Also what do you do about Leslie's chatting while you are trying to read? do you turn the sound off? reading and walking at the same time - this sounds like a learned skill to me! ;-)

I got up at 5:00 this morning and did a 2 mile walk with Leslie. It is pouring down raining in Louisiana today and I knew I would not get to the mall for a walk, so thankfully I was able to get myself up early and get with it.

I had an apple before lunch and before supper last night, and then I had to scurry to church and pick up extra teenagers on the way, so it ended up that the apple before supper ended up being supper. Yes I was hungry when I got back home, but it was just too late to eat something so I had a great big bottle of water to tide me over til I could go to sleep and forget about being hungry. Hopefully, while my tummy was growling those little fat burners were burning up stored fat (or as Leslie likes to call it "stored energy") haha

I also had an apple this morning before breakfast, but I haven't had breakfast yet - been too busy at work. Fixing to have a little bowl of cereal to go along with it tho.

Well I hope everybody is feeling well today, or getting to the doctor if they are not - hmmmmmm Sweetpea I'm talking to you! how ya doing?

How is everyone doing today. I am feeling good today....the light box is really working. I have to go sit at it for half an hour now & read my book & have my coffee.

Hi Ladies,

Nice but chilly day out West today. Tomorrow is the beginning of the weekend. yipee Tonight I have a dinner meeting at church for incoming and outgoing council members. After that , is the weekly class on congregational change and revival. This is a long day today.

Leenie is off eating beans and rice right now.. she sent me an email earlier. I'd advise everyone in the New Jersey area to take cover immediately

Cin. I also am a firm believer in the power of prayer. I will pray for her. I am also a firm believer in seeking help. I hope she will go see a doctor who can advise her on what she can do to feel better.

Cathy, thanks for the nag at Ms Sweet Pea. One of two things is happening.. either she has gotten sicker and is not online or she hasn't made a doctor's appointment and is hiding from my wrath

Cin, so glad your friend is better. I too will pray for her. Prayer works and I am a true believer in it.

Cathy, wanna trade weather? It's snowing here. Started at 6 this morning and to continue all day. We are to get 4 to 7 inches. I'm thinking of a dinner of snow icecream.

Linda you know me too well. I am actually no sicker, yet no better.... but failed to call the doctor Monday. But have since and she says she is at a loss. It could be stress (ya think??? my over $4 thousand electric, water, sewer, trash bill is enough to drive anyone sick) or the lingering of the flu, which she doubts. I am still throwing up nightly. I told Chris I waste money eating. I now look at food and decide if it's something I like enough to not eat it unless I want to see it again in a couple hours. Don't know if I've lost any more weight as I've pretty much avoided the scale.

I've been going to bed early so have not been in to chat. Will try to get in tomorrow night. Have missed everyone.

Beans and rice huh Leens. Don't bend over too fast.

So you talked to the doctor. Did you tell here this throwing up business has been going on for MONTHS? and that for the last more than two weeks it has been daily? Make an appointment!! If she isn't taking you seriously, find someone who will. Your health is too important to not demand answers. No one is going to take care of you but YOU!!

And I didn't say call the doctor on Monday.. I said make an appointment. So make one!

Sweet I am with Linda, you need to see someone. If you are throwing up too much you will damage your swallow reflex. That wouldn't be good.

Cathy you guys have it worse than us. It is just really overcast. Everyone that comes in is yawning due to no sun. I havn't been on for a few days, are you doing the apple plan?

Linda you are one busy lady.

I think I may be coming down with the virus that everyone here is getting. I have been thinking positive and taking vit. c so i hope I don't get it. It is like what Sweet had, coming out of both ends. That really doesn't sound fun to me.

Kemp, hurry take those "C's" it seems everyone here is also sick or coming down with something. Take care of yourself and try to rest this weekend. Carrot cake always makes me feel better
