Default PB2 - anyone try it?

Let me preface this by saying that I love peanut butter more than a person really should. By some divine miracle I've resisted taking a heaping spoonful of the stuff like I used to. I think looking at the calorie count just scared me off.

My point is though, I'm bored with my current meals. I've been eating roughly the same few foods these past few months and I really need to mix it up. I've looked into PB2 and it seems odd that such a thing can have a fairly low amount of calories and taste good.

Has anyone else tried it or the other version with chocolate mixed in? Does it taste as good or almost as good as regular peanut butter?

There's not many places near me that carry it, so I think I would have to buy it online. I don't really have a problem with it, but I would like to know what others think of the taste before taking the plunge.

I recently bought a bottle of it. It's pretty expensive. But it does have a good peanutty taste. It's lower cal because it's defatted. So it doesn't have the creamy texture. It does have a slightly grainy texture. Some people don't like the texture.

That's good to know!

Personally the texture wouldn't bother me—as long as I get that peanut butter taste.

I found it at the local Herbel life nutrition store for $6. I figured by the time I bought it online and paid for shipping it would be close that price so...
