New to forum, happy to be among equals
Hi!
My name is Hope, I'm 22 (23 in about a month). I got broken-up with by the man I thought I would be with forever 4 months ago, when I met him I was at 195-ish, a couple months back I was back at my usual weight of 237. Right now I'm at 227 and I want to get down to around 135 because that would be a healthy BMI for me. I want to do this for myself so I can once in my life feel sexy (I also want to sort of rub it in my ex's face when i do reach my goal). My best friend (she's at the same weight as me but a bit taller) and I have started keeping food diaries to watch what we eat and we ordered some exercise DVDs to work out to as well. We both want to really lose.
I don't even recall how I found this site honestly, oh yeah, I was looking for a recipe, haha. I was actually about to eat a kit-kat to quench my sweet-tooth when I read some posts on here, saw some girls with the little signature bars that say how much they've lost, and decided not to!
Anyway, glad to be here, I can't spend 24/7 with my best friend so it'll be good to get some support elsewhere, especially from people who've done it! (I've always been overweight and "tried everything" but this time, I feel like I have nothing else to do, and I NEED to finally do this! For good!!)
