Yes. That's a pretty common thing. It happens to me all the time. My thing is I will eat a good breakfast and then come lunch time I just really have to make myself eat a little something. But it wouldn't bother me to go all day without eating at all.

yes, when I'm compliant, I go longer than usual without hunger. When I sneak a cheat, then I feel more hunger - and control becomes an issue. I wouldn't force yourself to eat, but consider breaking your meals into 6 "snacks" instead. Have them when you feel like it, and don't over analyze. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

What awesome results. I feel a twinge of jealousy. I never get that week 1 bammo from low carb, but I do lose weight, albeit slowly.

Welcome to ketosis!!!

I find when I am in full ketosis I have to look for other cues that I need energy, besides "hunger". Insulin is the hunger hormone and you just don't have much insulin when you are in ketosis (theoretically none, but if you are stressed your body will release it after it processes the cortisol, but you don't really need to know that right now).

When I am in Ketosis if I feel light-headed or start to get grumpy I first check how long it has been since I have eaten. If after a good induction-friendly snack I feel better then I know I waited too long to eat. I have to go back and check but I believe the Atkins book says it is best to eat every 2-3 hours something small even if you aren't that hungry to keep your metabolism going. You don't have to eat a meal, but keep your body fueled and drink lots of water.
