newbie here

  • Hey Girls!!! I dont beat around the bush... I need to loose weight.. always been a big girl since 5 and hoped by my 30th birthday ( in jan) i wouldnt be a big girl anymore... i tried weight watchers for the first time... in the beggining of the year... it worked i lost 20 lbs... this summer ive put back on 5 but im pretty happy with myself that it was only 5 and not all 20. Ive been trying to teach my self to jog/ run but ive never been made to do it even in school so its a stretch for me... i started doing 30 day shred on sunday... so im taking little baby steps.. wish me luck... because im going on a cruise on halloween... and i want to look semi fit... for only working on it for 6 weeks...
  • Welcome to the forum! Congrats on maintaining 15 lbs of your original 20lb loss!
    If you are interested in building a jogging program, try the C25K program (you can google it and print the schedule). It is called couch to 5k and give you a schedule to help you build a running program.

  • Hi I'm a newbie too, looking to lose a lot of weight. If you wanna start running just make sure you warm up and do stretches and stuff first, or you'll be sore afterwards, trust me. I've started walking a lake near my house (about 3 miles around) so I jog a little bit of it at a time until I can work my way up. Congrats on your weight loss so far and good luck!
