Wink Hungry, day 6

It's day 6 of induction for me and last night i was HUNGRY. I had snacked on some cheese, olives and pickles, drank a ton of water-nothing would make it stop, so I just went to bed. That's right, I went to sleep. It was all I could think of to do.

The encouraging thing is that i've lost 4.5 lbs in 6 days. I'm hoping for an even 5 for 7 days, official weigh in tomorrow. When I think of that, and then add up 5lbs a week, i'm looking at -20lbs by Halloween. I need to keep that mentality. 5lb increments, not "I need to lose 66lbs".....

exhale. I can do this, right?

are you eating enough meat throughout the day? Getting enough fat in by eating beef or using oils to cook with? You really shouldn't be hungry on this diet, that's what so great about it! You should join us on the Halloween challenge

YES, YES, YES - you (we!) can do this! I will be on Day 6 tomorrow. Yesterday was an awful, awful day. I was irritable and tired because of the carb/sugar withdrawals and PMS'ing on top of it. So what did I do? Yup, I went to sleep. I was hungry but there was nothing I wanted to eat. So, yeah, I understand what you are saying. Honestly, it was just my way of pouting. LOL

My fingers are crossed for you that those 15 pounds are lost by Halloween!

Hang in there girls! You really will get a point to where you are not hungry and, in fact, may have to remind yourself to eat something.
We're gonna do this

Absolutely, look to your goals. I can't wait until the day we're all hanging around the "maintaining" area on here together. Hunger can be a state of mind. I've been through the out of control grazing/binging thing. I've even cooked a lb of hamburger in a skillet and just eaten it straight to get over it. Load up if you're going to eat, or like you said, go to bed. I knew a girl who lost a lot of wait with naps. She couldn't not eat, but she was a good napper, so she'd nap instead. Slept her way to the bottom so to say LOL.
