My name is Geneva and I am 23 and started my weight loss journey just before Christmas 2009. I woke up and decided that i was tired of making excuses and went out into the world knowing that I was about to lose weight. I did the south beach diet religiously for 4 months and lost 40 lbs- being me, i had to do it my way

My sister and I did the diet together and we would have our treat day once a month after we did our weigh in- it was a great motivation to have our treat day at the end of each month. I have recently found out that it's better to do a treat meal once a week instead of a whole day- so i am now on that band wagon.
I am working towards my goal of 165 for my wedding in August! I am very excited to be this far and i know that it does not get any easier from here...
I have started running a little bit and am looking for advice on fat chick running! if you have any advice it is welcomed!
