Smile An introduction, and a little information

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a couple of days, and thought I should go ahead and make myself an account so I can join in on the conversations and support. I'm embarking on a quest to get more in shape and continue losing weight. I've done it before, and need to do it again. I lost 30 pounds on Weight Watchers (unofficial, I got the information but didn't go to meetings. Thank you smartphone!) between November 2010 and April 2011. I started with a friend of mine, and we would also walk about 2 times a week. It would have been more, but she was still in college and had papers due every week it seemed. Then my birthday hit. I had been religious with my WW, to the point of going to bed hungry if I was out of points for the day (not the best, I know), but then my birthday hit. I thought "Oh, I can just eat what I want for this weekend, and then get right back on track!" Big mistake. I couldn't. I managed not to put any weight back on, thank goodness. I got married last month, and my husband is going to get in shape with me too, as he is also not happy with his current weight. I feel like I'm taking all the right steps: log all my food into my LoseIt app on my phone, bought healthy food to make for the hubby and I, going after work to join a 24/7 gym ($20/month for both of us, awesome!), cutting back on sodas (Once I run out of my sodas, always diet, I won't buy any more. We bought lemonade mixes and other things to drink instead, sugarfree of course). I know having my hubby to exercise and eat well with me will help a lot. I think having a supportive community like here on 3FC will be an amazing asset in my weight loss journey, and will help keep me on track. Any tips or advice you have will always be appreciated. And according to what I have read so far, congratulations on all your successes!!!!

Welcome to the boards!!!

I'm a bit confused, though...you said you just got married last month yet you called your husband your fiance. Maybe you were so used to referring to him as such for so long it's hard to start calling him your husband, huh? I did that for a while, too.

Anyway, excuse my rambling. Best wishes in losing all your excess weight and regaining your health!

Thank you!!! @Sandy, I fixed my original post, so that he's my husband the whole way through. I catch myself still doing that sometimes. Too many previous titles for him! Lol.

LOL...I totally understand. It feels strange saying "husband" after saying "fiance" for so long.
