Default I definitely need some Motivation!

Hey everyone! I lost about 60 lbs 4 years ago, and gained it back plus some.. I have a twin sister.. and our 30th birthday is coming up in 17 months.. and i'm really trying to lose weight before our big hoorah! The only thing i'm really lacking is people being cheerleaders and motivators! I work 40+ hours a week at Starbucks, and I'm not sure if everyone understands, it takes hard work and determination to not have a pumpkin spice latte, especially this time of the year haha.. I have my mind in the game, i just don't have much of a support group to talk to about the trial and tribulations of giving up my favorite thing in life.. JUNK FOOD! I'd love to meet new people and talk to people going through the same things I am!

Aw, hi! I understand completely about Starbucks, I went there every day to work on homework last fall and boy, it caught up with me! Anyway, I don't post as much as other people do on this thread, but I will see you around. Welcome!

Oh wow thanks everyone for responding! Yeah starbucks is a rough place to work when youre trying to lose weight haha! We just got in all the fall pastries and it's definitely a killer passing them by.. when the pumpkin cream cheese muffin is only the BEST thing in the world!! The temptation did not win the war today haha! Thanks racrane for the warm welcome!

Default I Just Turned 30...

As you get older your metabolism slows down and i have found it is harder to lose weight the older I get.

I have been on a low-carb diet for 23 days now and have lost 11.5 pounds. I am an experienced dieter who would love to offer you support. I have found some great tools that have helped me lose weight. Instead of writing a novel on here why don't you check out my blog: myattempttoloseweight.blogspot.com. I have posted the four tools I use in my quest to lose weight. I suggest you create a blog as well. Good luck!!
