I've always had migraines/headaches ever since I can remember, but here lately I've developed migraines on top of my regular ones due to certain foods or food groups. I've noticed that it's dairy related [most dairy things], chocolate, caffeine, certain bread products & some items containing aspartame. ~ Also, anything overly "greasy" such as hamburger meat no matter how "lean" it is.
So here's where I need help.
I thought maybe if I "cleansed" my body by eating right & drinking only water that it would somewhat even out whatever has made my body hate these things, but apparently not.
I've ate more grilled chicken salads than I can stomach and I need some new ideas. Any ideas for stuff that I can eat/snack on that would be okay?
You can do lots of stuff with chicken besides grilled chicken salad. You can do a chicken wrap on a whole wheat tortilla, lowfat sour cream, and low fat cheese, you can do chicken enchaladas with whole wheat tortillas, low fat sour cream, and low fat cheese, I really like the chicken alfredo with whole wheat noodles and low fat alfredo sauce. You can also use ground turkey like hamburger meat and make burgers, tacos, meatloaf, etc. Take a look in the recepies thread.

All of that sounds really good, except the bread part, the dairy part and the cheese lol. Most bread products give me migraines, along with sour cream kind of thing and definitely definitely cheese of any kind
Have you tried the alternative versions of the products that give you migraines? For example, soy cheese or almond milk? Maybe try gluten free breads to see if that changes anything. For what it's worth, you might want to see your doctor and let him/her know about the migraines getting worse by eating certain foods and if there's anything they can do to help.

I've been trying to research some new things to try, so hopefully once I get paid this week I can pick up some new stuff to try
Also, yes I've been to my family doctor about it and he said the only thing he could do was to put me on narcotics to keep the migraines away [which I won't do] or not to eat the things that make the migraines really bad, which eliminates a tons of things that I can eat
So I think i'm going to try to get into a Neurologist just to make sure there's nothing else & also going to check out a chiropractor.
