Default how do i get balance in my life?

So here I go again. Another new start.

I've lost 11 pounds this year and things were moving in the right direction a...and then my social life took over. Eating out and drinking alcohol is such a huge part of my life (which is probably also the reason why I have no money in the bank account and the weight has crept back on).

I need to somehow reprogram my mind to associate eating out and drinking alcohol as a treat once in a while and not something that im entitled to do because ive had a great/bad day

Anyone else facing this challenge?

The more success I have on the scale, the less desire I have to eat out because I do not want to go backwards. I know how easy it is to gain a pound and how hard it is to lose it.
If you are going to eat out, plan for it and fit the food you order into your food plan. Do the same with the alcohol, try to fit the calories you drink into your calorie allotment for the day.

Oh i know this alllll too well! Even when im on a very strict diet and going to the gym eating out is my downfall no matter how many times i tell myself im going to order a salad as soon as i start looking at the menu it changes to a burger or pasta! Sooo i dont eat out anymore! The drinking thing was easier for me my birthday is October 11th so i told myself that if i lose an amount of weight that im happy with by my birthday as a treat i can drink! (most likely i will anyways haha) but i just use it as rewards now. Plus like you said youll save soooooo much money not doing it! See if you can do a girls night instead at someones house or go to a movie and bring your own snack

I'm in the same boat! I feel like my days are long and the last thing I want to do at the end is figure out what to cook, cook it, serve it, eat it and clean up the mess! I do get a bit frustrated because my family is NO help. When I ask for dinner suggestions they stare at me like I asked them about Einstein's theory of relativity, LOL! I think I am going to make a list of all the family favorites, like a menu and when we are stumped refer to the list.

You are a mirror image of me this summer! I'm in your exact position. I decided 2 weeks ago to get back on WW and track everything. I've gone from going out 3-4 times a week to 1 time. And i only had 1 drink. I actually feel alot better and am spending alot less money. It's soooo easy to get in that groove. My friend is the bartender so it's that much easier to go out. I've decided that i really want to lose this weight once and for all. I lost 15 and regained
