Hello! My name is Jillian, though I always use the name millyfriar for things. It's after my two cats -- Millhouse and Friar... they're my little men! Besides my fiancee, though he might get offended if I call him little. I am 31 and am going back to college on Monday, and was recently engaged.


I am getting married this Nov. and received my engagement shots... I couldn't even believe it was me. I have always been overweight, but I was seeing myself obese. I found this forum because I was searching about how to get rid of the fat I have over my belly button -- and I am glad I did!

I have been reading posts for a while, and decided that joining is the best option there is. I have lost about 30 lbs so far, but there is still much more to go! I look forward to going through this journey with everyone, and to looking HOT for my wedding and my honeymoon (which will be taken in July 2012)!!

Congratulations on your engagement! I know exactly what you mean about seeing a picture and freaking out. I recently went wedding dress shopping and my sister took a picture of me in the dresses i was trying on. When she showed me them later I started to ball because I looked like a line backer! I started my weight loss journey after that and I'm excited that I'm down 9 pounds!! Best of luck to you, and I wish you happiness.
