new name, old member.
Hello everyone,
I'm not a newbie, my last stint here (albeit short lived) was October 2010. I was steadily losing weight with all support I received here. At the end of October I found out I was pregnant--and needless to say, fell waaaay off the wagon. Stopped posting here, and pretty much indulged every pregnancy craving I had. I was 279 pre pregnancy, I gained about 13 lbs while I was pregnant. Now my daughter is a month old and I'm back to pre pregnancy weight.
I'm back here because now I think its more important than ever to resume my weight loss. The majority of my family is overweight, including my mother, and I remember how horrible she used to make me feel about being overweight even though she was obese herself. I don't want to do that to my daughter. I don't want her to have to struggle with her weight the way I've had to struggle with mine. I don't want my food issues to rub off on her--so I feel it is imperative that I make this lifestyle change now, while she is so young, so that I can be a good example of fitness and health.
