Default You Ladies are a Great Source of Inspiration

Hi

Ive been lurking for a while, reading up on what everyone is doing and how they are going about it. Ive checked out alot of the links provided here and after all is said and done, Im inspired, and highly motivated!!

Im not doing BFL, what Im doing now, is working and I know its something that I can do for the rest of my life. But you ladies bodybuilding have me hooked.

I started last week, and have seen a huge difference in my energy level. I havent taken my bathing suit picture yet, and I dont have an excuse. So I suppose that should be done soon.

I wanted to stop in and thank you all for all support, even though you may not have known you were giving it.

Thanks Niffer and JEC!

Ive been doing Atkins since last October and have lost approx 35 lbs. 45 more to go! I find it very easy in my day to day life, and eating out isnt a problem either. I do find it hard at times when life gets busy to eat enough. But, you learn as you go along

Hey Robin,

You may find that if you plan on weight training with Atkins that you won't have much strength. I have a tweak to Atkins that could help you with that if you are curious or get to that stage.

I haven't done Atkins since the 70's, but from what I've heard the carbs are pretty low - you might want to increase them a bit - you need clean carbs for energy and rebuilding when doing weight training.

Feel free to hang with us!!! Most of us here started with Body for Life, but have gone on to other plans, keeping weight training as the 'center'. Hope to see you often!

Yeppers - I mean veggies, fruits, taters, oatmeal, etc.

I posted a great article called "Foods that Make You Look Great Nekkid" in the Articles thread here in this forum. That'll give you an idea of what I mean by 'clean' eating...
