I'm new here and am ready to get moving!

The short version of me!

I have four children ages 1-13 yo. I am a teacher and love my job. I have been with my hubby for over 11yrs.
After having our youngest last February I lost weight pretty fast while BFing. At 6wks PP I had an IUD inserted and havent been able to shed one pound! Had the same affect while on depo years before, got off depo and lost 20 lbs in a month! Got pregnant and gained twice that plus alittle! babys now nearing 18 mo and I'm tired of not being able to squeeze into my sz 10 clothes. It took me a YEAR to lose 10 lbs got sick spent a week in the hosp and gained it all back! Dr says everything looks ok on my test results no reason why I shouldnt be able to lose the pounds! My hubby says take out the IUD if I want or keep it, what sever is ok with him. Needless to say I'm upset with this!

Anyone out there have any info that could help me?

I'm new too! And I don't have any info that might pertain to your situation.... but I would lose the IUD
if it were me. Just make sure to be careful if you don't want anymore kids right now. Good luck!

I'm a birth control pill user myself, but never really had a specific problem due to it, so I'm not sure I have much advice in that area.

However I wanted to roll out the welcome mat and say hello!

Thanks ladies. I'm excited to get started. I called and made an appt this morning. My IUD is history as of Friday morning. I'm worried because it was so painful having it put in. Glad it will be Friday though so I wont be home in pain for a few days. If I have the same out come coming out as going in I'll be nice and crampy. Fun Fun!

I went ahead and started this morning with my food diary and really making sure every thing I eat is healthy. And up'd my activity a little with some HD house cleaning. Hoping for great results. Can't wait to change my Avatar to 5lbs lost!
