So what if I have stretch marks from my knees to my rib cage. I'm going to the beach and I'm gonna wear a Frackin' bikini. If people don't like it they don't have to look at me!

The only reason I'm not even going to TRY a bikini for quite a while is because of my belly. I envy girls who just have... large bellies. No... mine has like... a flap here... some chub over here... etc etc.

But I'm positive you can pull one off! Go for it!!!

I've never been too comfortable showing my stomach at the best of times, but last year I bought the cutest tummy-hiding bathing suit from ModCloth.com.

It was a pretty big purchase, so I'll probably regret having to retire it once I've lost some weight, but I think feeling healthier will be well worth having to buy a new suit next year.

You know I've been going back and forth between actually wearing a bikini for the first time, or a tankini tonight because of my stomach pooch.. and after seeing your post.. Screw it! I'm wearing the heck out of that bikini tonight. Thank you! I hope your beach time was amazing in that bikini

Coming to terms with my stretch marks is like coming to terms with my cellulite. They're never gonna go away, and you know what? If you get really nosy and start oogling some of the other girls on the beach...they have them too! When your stretch marks fade from red you can't see them unless you look REALLY close. I lost a ton of weight in high school and still have the stretch marks 10 years later, but they've long since faded to white. Sunless tanner helps too, but in all honesty, almost every girl has them and almost every guy knows this too.
