Default Salad Dressing

Can you post your favourite homemade salad dressing recipes that are SBD friendly? Or brands and flavours of store bought one?

Thank You

I make a dressing that I put on a salad of Romaine hearts, kalamata olives, and rf feta cheese.

Measurements sorta of depend on how many people but for 4 I usually do

3TBLSPS EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
1TBLSP WATER
1TBLSP LEMON JUICE OR LIME
PINCH OF SALT
TEASPOON OF OREGANO

I make it in a larger cup and when you swirl the dressing a few times it emulsifies pretty well on its own. Measurements are an average.... I do it to taste.

Hope this helps

@nat4crim - I was JUST thinking about this today! So glad you posted, can't wait for more replies.

I bought a glass dressing bottle that already has 6 different dressing recipes on the bottle, it even has measure lines for each recipe so you know where to fill it too, pretty neat....if I actually USED it!! I'm not sure if some of the recipes on it are SB friendly though. Are any of these items okay on any phase of SB: orange juice, apple juice, rice wine vinegar? I know the juices aren't okay if you just sit and drink a glass of it. But the recipes call for 4 oz or less....thoughts? I guess I could just try them and see how it affects my cravings.

I rarely use salad dressings on my salads anymore, but these used to be my favorites -
Wegman's Lemon Viniagrette
Ken's Light Northern Italian
Trader Joe's Goddess
salsa stirred into fatfree plain yogurt
