Default Any night shift workers out there?

Hello!

Just wondered if there are any night shift workers out there? What kind of shedule do you keep ~ when do you eat your meals, when do you sleep, do your exercise, drink your water etc?

I am struggling trying to piece it all together into a plan that works for me, and thought maybe someone else had some ideas I could try.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Glynne. I work 4 days a week from 1p to 10p and one day 730a to 430a. I have tried many things to get it goin for me. I try to workout(life premitting) after I have gotten my child on the bus, however there are some days that I do a mini workout before bed. I find that it is hard to workout with everyone home. I can workout at the gym with people around but not at home. Odd huh? Eating right is the hardest thing for me. I never get to take lunch at the same time everyday and there are times that I only get a few mins for lunch. I do try to bring lunch some days and then there are some that I grab whatever I can find that isn't too bad for me. I did for a long time work 3rd shift and that was rough on the weight loss. I know that when I got home from work I done my workout while I cleaned house then I was in bed by 10a and got to sleep until 4p if I was lucky. I got up fixed dinner for DH and then I got to go back to sleep for an hour before work somedays. If it wasn't for doin housework fro a workout I wouldn't have made it. Hope that I have been of some help.

Thank you gigglez for sharing. I will have to keep trying different things until I find what works for me I guess. It is an evolving process.

Again thanks ~ glynne (Gayle)
