Default Determined to change. Also, I'm new here!

Introductory post time.

Well, I just found this place today, and through browsing I decided to give it a go. I'm no newbie when it comes to trying to lose weight, but I've only seriously considered trying this year, as in making a firm difference.

My entire life I've been big, mainly due to overindulgent parents followed by me not taking care of myself. When I was in 4th grade, I weighed 170. I'd love to weigh that now, but let's back track a second. FOURTH GRADE, I was a 170-pound 11 year old.

Now I'm a 210lbs 18 year old, who's determined to make a change. Already I've lost almost 30 lbs, but I've still got 60 to go. I found this place to be a great source already, for exercise tips and recipes, and being a vegetarian, recipes are important.

So here I am, hoping to find some weight loss buddies, and hopefully keep myself more on track than I have in the last 6 months.

Welcome to 3FC!

I've been heavy almost all of my life, so I can definitely understand.

Congratulations on the progress you've made so far! Keep at it and the weight will come off

One day at a time, one choice at a time. We'll be healthier and drop the extra weight.

Best of wishes!

HELLO!!

I was vegan for almost 2 years, not any longer, but I do stick to a mostly vegetarian diet now, right now I'm doing the Dr. McDougall Maximum Weight Loss plan which is completely vegan and just based on a book, so cheap too... maybe that is something you can check out at the library if you like to read?

Also me and a few other girls are doing a 30 day challenge, if you would like to join us you're more than welcome!!
