Default Frustrated!

Guh. Ok, I've come back and gone about 3 times. I just really can't break the cycle of losing and gaining. I got down to 122, and now I'm back up at 137.4. I've been dealing with some crazy things, including a stalker and the fact that half of my town was basically destroyed by a tornado on April 27. I can't take the fat anymore. It has to go. I need to be held accountable because obviously, I can't do this on my own right now.

Does anyone else end up with yo-yo weight loss/gain? How do you handle it? How did you break the cycle, if you did? Thanks.

I gotta tell you... you and I are about the same height and I would LOVE to be at the weight you are! In fact, that is my goal! So, even though you are frustrated, looking at it through a different lens, I'm seeing how FAR you've come! Step back take a breath and congratulate yourself - seriously! Maybe your body is telling you to "rest" where you are right now.... then you can re-start the engines again in a little while...
Seriously... you've come a long way!

I feel ya, Bama girl! It's so frustrating, isn't it?! I mean, I know what I need to do, but for some reason, I just don't do it. GRR! I've yo-yo-ed I don't know how many times. It always seems to be something big that triggers the bubble to grow. The first time it was study abroad, the second time it was getting engaged. UGH. I'm hoping that since my wedding is a year and a half away, that will be incentive to get it off an keep it off!

As someone who is a regainer of 50 lbs...tell yourself that that there may always be traumatic events, that doesn't make them any less important, but that the important part is to be able to stabilize yourself so that you can at least maintain your weight in difficult times, because at the worst of times, at least you know that you are at the weight you want to be.

I've yo-yo-ed a tiny bit everytime I see the scale go into the next 10lb bracket of weight loss. I just talk myself through not being afraid of the next step by creating reasons of why I need to be a certain amount smaller by a given time... I think just need the overall confidence that I will like myself thin again. I don't know. I'm interested to see how people have broken the cycle.
