Default Eating Disordered

I have spent so much time denying that I am addicted to food and wasted so much time trying this diet and that diet. I watched a show on OWN and it really slammed it home that I am addicted to food and I don't have a correct self imagine and I am in complete denial about how this addiction controls everything else in my life. I am seeking treatment for the ed and also going off sugars and lowering my other carbs drastically. So looking forward to some withdrawal symptoms.

Glad that we have somewhere on 3FC that we can be honest about this. Thanks for listening.

You can do it, girl! It took me awhile to realize that I had problems, too, with eating and with my own self image, so much to the point that I would feel so embarrassed about how fat and disgusting I was that I would skip class. I ended up dropping and retaking a class three times, and even failing it once, because of my problems with food. But just this past semester, I finally got through it and passed that darn class with a B+!

You're gonna be great, girl. Stay strong, and know that we're here for you, too.

Good luck! I'm in the process of recovering from an ED as well and I know how hard it can be. It will be hard, but I know it will be worth it. If you ever need any support or a shoulder to cry on, I am more than willing to be there!
