Losing it for good this time!

  • Hello to all!
Found the site looking for a recipe for butternut squash soup and I have been jumping around the forum for about 2 hours now. It seems like an awesome community with lots of resources and I hope I can contribute something worth while.

Little about me: I'm 27 I work caring for children. I have pretty much always been big, was skinny for a year or two in my late teens and then ballooned out to a size 24(uk) and basically just fluxed between 18-22 since then through exercise and cutting out the junk and cutting my portion sizes I got myself down to a size 14, I was so happy and so convinced that I would keep it off and I didnt have to worry about anything because I had obviously changed I felt better about myself and liked the way I looked. I let myself have this that and the other thinking "oh it wont hurt" and now a year and a half later only two pairs of my jeans fit me at the moment (only one of them comfortably) and I cant stand the sight of myself. I comfort eat a lot and love drinking my coke (haven't had a drop in 3 days now). I'm not entirely sure of what i weigh at the moment but I'm guessing about 210. I need a change. I'm not overly occupied with the number on a scale I just want to feel healthy again, be able to run after the kids without feeling like I'm gonna collapse and of course I want to look good in my skinny jeans (or any jeans!) again. So my plan is Weight watchers (starting next week), and I've got some work out dvds as well that I started on monday.

So the rest of you newbies and of course the seasoned professionals drop me a hello and we can share our journeys.

    Hugs for all!
