It's time...
Hi everyone! Brand new here. In short, I've been a dancer all my life (ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop, etc.) and was in incredible shape all through my childhood and teens because of it. I averaged about 130-135lbs at 5'7''. Now that I've been in college for the past 3 years, living on a cheap diet of ramen and with little access to a dance studio, I've packed on the pounds. The other day I weighed myself to find that I was 165, which was higher than I ever could have imaged I'd reach. I'm trying to balance my general hatred of exercise that isn't dance with my sweet tooth and my recently discovered LOVE of cooking/baking (thanks to a boyfriend who finally taught me how). I'm looking for support because I've tried turning over a new leaf SO many times and the numbers on the scale just keep getting bigger. Here's to changes!
