Default Hi im new

Hello! I have read alot about this website when i askd health questions on the net and figured i wold like to join. I am 28 and from Missouri, I have been married for 3 years and have a 19 month old boy. For the last 12 weeks i have been doing the C25K but i have just started on week 7. I was over weight in highschool then started to lose alot of weight afteri graduated. I was the slimest about 2 years before I had my baby and started gaining weight back when i got engaged. Igained 45 lbs with my pregnancy even tho i watched what i ate. I have lost all of the baby weight and would love to lose the o i have met my future husband weight . I started losing a little when i started running and now im gaining it back, hopefully it is muscle. I just started back at the YMCA last week so i can run rain or shine and lift a little too. I am so happy for this web site and hope to get lots of tips and encouragement!

Hi! This is my first reply/post on this website. I just registered today. I'm actually not familiar with the site at all, but I figured it would be a good way for me to have positive input on losing weight and toning up. I think it's great that you are doing the C25K. How do you like it so far? I haven't done anything specifically yet, I just started working out & dieting this week.

I really like it. At first I started running outside for weeks 1-5. Sometimes I would push my kid in his stroller, he liked it but it was hard as heck to push him. The weather in MO has been crazy lately so it took me awhile to get where I am cuz I couldnt take the baby out in the cool air or rain so the last two weeks or so I have been on the treadmill at the Y. I never thought I would be able to run for 25 minutes straight but with C25K i have been. I even got my one mile down to 12 minutes which is good for me I couldnt even run it that fast when I kinda in shape in highschool! Welcome to the site and thanks for the reply!
