Hello everyone!
I turned 30 last year and made a resolution to myself to get my weight under control... I'll be 31 in 3 months so I finally got up off my behind and started working out and changing my diet.
I've always been the "thick" girl. I love clothes and have previously written a fashion column. It's always been a disappointment to me that as much as I love the fashion I see daily, I can't really fit any of it.
I don't really have a "goal" weight or size to hit, I feel like I'll know it when I hit it I guess. Although if I did have one, I guess it would be to fit jeans without my booty causing a gap in the waistband.
My current routine is I've completely given up fast food (I stopped missing Baconators about 2 weeks ago so I think that's a good sign lol) and I've started working out 5 days a week at the YMCA.
I have a great husband who really doesn't need to lose weight, but is working out with me because I found it really intimidating to go to the gym alone. Skinny people seem to love to jog at incredibly high speeds on the treadmill next to mine.
It's nice to meet you all. Hopefully we can encourage each other.
