Hi, I'm a 40 year old woman with 4 kids aged 2-21. I have been fat all my life and it's time for the fat to finally go away! I've said for years that I want to get rid of it, but this time I'm really determined. Here's my push, I haven't owned a bathing suit since I was a very young teenager, well, next summer I am wearing one to the beach. Now it's up to me as to whether or not I'm 300+ pounds wearing one, or 180 or below wearing one!!! I would rather be under 180!

My starting weight was 328 at the beginning of March, and my goal was to lose 10lbs a month. I lost 17lbs in March and 8lbs in April. I know that alot of my first months loss was water, but hey, it's gone! And I really backslid in April, so I'm hoping to do better in May. I started out using Atkins, but didn't like the limitations on healthy foods, like milk and veggies, so I have switched more to the Whole Foods weight loss, with low carbs and I'll see how it works. Hope to get plenty of advice and support from this site!
