Default Bank Holiday Blues

Hi UK chicks

I had to ask but how you all coping with the double bank holiday? its been a nightmare for me diet wise, I went to visit my dad the weekend just gone and ate loads we went out 4 nights in a row.

Now we have the 4 day weekend ahead and I know its not going to be great I am going to sit and watch the royal wedding with my little princesses eating sweets and finishing of the easter eggs.

As mush as i have loved the time of work my waist has suffered, i am so weak!

Hows everyone else doing / couping with the festivities?

xx

Hey Marie,
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! I have been eating - eating lots and lots!
I will start again Monday . . . I have fallen off the wagon spectacularly and don't want to admit the damage

I know alcohol definitely fuels the munchies! I disappeared from 3FC for two and a half months and in that time i've put on about 2 stone :'( I don't know why i've let myself do this but I need to get back in control ASAP.

I'm up to my neck in deadlines and work for uni so no bank holidays for me. Probably better this way.

On the plus side, I got two easter eggs for easter and I've only eaten half of one and that was only because I was stressed yesterday and needed to get my calories up. It's really difficult to eat enough calories when you're living on sandwiches and tea.

I guess moderating chocolate really is possible.

im sadly avoiding socialising as much as possible around meals and going out to avoid a gain and promote a loss, this leaves me blue for other reasons. I went on some very long dog walks, watched the wedding in the morning pub with some tea, and had a small bar of choc to celebrate the end of a good week last night, but apart from that im avoiding alcohole as much as possible and just hoping to loose soon.....remaining positive where possible. good luck to u all too xx

There have been so many BBQ offers, but I work at a cinema and we don't close so I've managed to avoid them!

I've been out for 2 meals though, had a curry at Wetherspoons (came with naan bread, poppadoms, mango chutney and a cheapo desert which I stupidly had!) and a Mexican meal at Chiquitos. I skipped the starter and desert offer at Chiquitos, even though I was REALLY tempted!

So it's not been great in terms of dining out, but I've stuck to my exercise and I managed to lose 2 lbs this week so it's not been terrible. If you succumb to bad eating habits, I think just kicking your own arse at exercise will balance it out!

I've had a terrible month Bank holidays and socialising in general have killed my diet.

Tomorrow I start again, but got a meal out on Thursday and meant to be meeting a friend on Wednesday, hoping to do something none food related with her, but it's so hard!

Good luck to all of us getting back on the wagon xxx
