Default Calorie Cycling Question

This is my second week trying calorie cycling and I love it. Last week I lost 2.8lbs after plateauing for WEEKS. A question, though:

Are the calories your plan tells you to consume NET calories? For example today, as per my calorie cycling plan, I am to eat 1368 calories. But this morning I did a short run and burned 185 calories...so should I eat 185 more to meet my 1368?

I consider exercise a bonus and don't eat any extra. I would stick with 1368 if it were me.

If I do a ton of exercise and burn a ton of calories AND I am hungry I will eat a bit more for the day, but not the full amount I burn.

This is also what I do. Those are "free" calories to me, that I earned, and I don't want to waste them!

I had this same question since I started using MFP. By the end of the day before dinner on my Zumba days, I still have somewhere in the park of 1200 cals I can consume. I don't want to eat that many calories at dinner

You'll never know exactly how much your body burns calorie-wise. Eat your 1368 calories, and any exercise done will just be a bonus.
