Default How Do I Maintain My Running Program During Induction?

Hi, Everybody! I started running/walking on 1/7/11 and before I started Induction, I was up to running 4 miles. Now that I'm on Induction, I can barely run five minutes without needing a walking break. Will my body get used to this or are the Atkins program and running no compatible?

Hi, Everybody! I'm happy to report that I'm now able to run 3 miles and remain on Induction. Yeah, I'm staying on Induction past the recommended 14 days, but I'm feeling great and see no reason to stop.

I'm a fitness instructor that started feeling very shakey and sickly working out while doing Atkins. What helped me was supplements, particulary potassium. Drinking some salty broth a few times a day helped also. Bottom line is that for a period of time you are not going to have energy like you had after cutting carbs....I don't care what anyone says.

This makes me feel better about my lack of progress. Thanks so much. I feel like I'm starting over by mixing my running with walking, but now at least I can complete 3 miles without quitting.
