The first day on my ideal protein diet was full of vomiting, dizzyness, headache and just pretty much ****. I was shaky and lethargic. I had to stop the diet cause I wasnt getting better. I am so bummed and wasted so much money. I am trying to work up the encouragement to seek an alternate plan. However I am scared to death on trying this again but I need to lose weight BAD!
I don't know what diet that is, but your symptoms sound like carb withdrawal. If thats the case, eat a cookie and drink a soda. Tomorrow will be a little better.
Don't give up! Today was my first day, too. A couple of times I felt a little lethargic but it passed. I've had trouble getting all my water down. I feel like I'm going to pop! I also feel like I've been eating all day because I am so full.
Talk to someone about what you ate today. You may not have eaten enough of something. It all works together.
It sounds like you're addicted to (bad) carbs...sugar, flour, etc. You're going through withdrawal. Stick with it and you will lose the weight. (A lot of the same withdrawal symptoms as a drug addict trying to quit cold turkey). You might want to watch this. A lot of good info here -
