Normally I go with intuitive eating+whole foods but I've hit a plateau recently and want to do calorie counting for a week or so to see what I need to cut back on. Today I ate 1800 calories and I feel like I'm STARVING. I definitely drink enough water so that's not the issue. I'm 5'6" 192lbs and lead a pretty active life (lift+HIIT 3x a week and some general cardio on 1-2 of the other days). We also don't own a car so we walk/take public transport everywhere and that means I'm also carrying around my 33lbs daughter a lot of the time.
Here's what I ate today, feel free to critique away!
Breakfast:
eggs+1slice bacon (turkey bacon is not available where I live)+coffee with milk
Lunch
Black beans+tomatoes+onions+yellow peppers with a splash of olive oil and vinegar
the rest of DD's whole whole wheat spaghetti with turkey meatballs and spinach (this was only 1/4 cup so not a lot)
Snack
Fruit yogurt smoothie
coffee with milk
Dinner
Lean ground beef+avocado+black beans+tomatoes+smidgen of cheese
Desperately still hungry snack
small bowl of musli (normally I wouldn't eat this but I was STARVING and it was the quickest thing I could grab)
As for exercise, yesterday I lifted+HIIT so today I just took it "easy" but that included hanging out at the playground awhile with DD, cleaning the house, picking up DD from school, and going swimming with DD too. We don't sit around much here..
So I know the musli wasn't a great choice but beyond that I seemed to be eating a ton of veggies+fruit and my carb/fat/protein distribution was right on target according to spark people. I don't get what I'm doing wrong? Every time I try to calorie count I'm always starving afterwards?

Honestly, I'd be happy losing ANY weight at this point instead of maintaining but I'm just not sure what to do... I can't be this hungry every day when I go to bed, I'll go crazy!!!
