It's a brand new day!
I just wrote a really long intro that disappeared somewhere!
Anyways, I'm Caitlin, stay at home wife, looking to shed a few pounds. I attempted to start last January but wedding dress shopping put it on hold because the dress I fell in love with fit and couldn't really be altered much. I lost about 5lbs by May, but mostly toned up my entire body so I looked amazing in the dress.
My goal now is to lose about 15-20lbs by the end of summer when my husband and I leave for a 200 mile bike trip. I don't want to be out of shape, huffing and puffing while he leaves me behind in a trail of dust. Right now I'm working mainly on cardio to get my stamina back where it needs to be. I go about 30KM each day on a stationary bike, and walk 3-5 miles on top of that. I've been watching what I eat and trying to stay somewhere around 1200 calories/day. My current (as of last week) weight is 133, my goal is 110-115, but I'm not sure if its possible as most of my weight is muscle. In the end, if I lose the jiggle in my thighs and butt, I'll be happiest. And if I can out peddle my husband and power through the trip without passing out, that would be my ultimate goal!
