Hello everybody! I'm Alli and I'm 22.. going to be 23 in June. I am the mother to a rather energetic toddler who will be 3 in April. Prior to becoming pregnant I had an extremely high metabolism and could never weigh anything over 120-125. I was known as a stick lol. I had NO boobs whatsoever.. I was THAT flat. When I got pregnant I am assuming I weighed 130-140lbs. During my pregnancy I developed pre-eclampsia and on the night I had my son my weight was 231lbs. In 3 years I have lost weight and gained it back. The lowest weight I have been is 180 I believe. I've tried cutting out soda and a few diet pills but have never really stuck with just ONE thing for long term. I'm looking for weightloss support, etc. I will be moving in 2 weeks from this weekend and will be moving to a complex where there is a gym and I'm hoping to start taking a Zumba class. Hoping to find my oomph here to get started on this weight loss!

Hi from Atlanta! Welcome! There's lots of great support and advice on 3FC, so look around and see where you think you might want to read and post.

Besides exercise (which is great!) have you thought about what kind of food plan you might want to follow? I'm a dedicated calorie counter - the first and only thing in my life that's enabled me to lose weight and keep it off - but there are many different forums here for different plans.

You can do this!

Welcome Alli, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
