Default Looking for advice

Morning,

I'm currently doing South Beach, but started counting calories about 3 weeks ago when I started to stall out.

I'm looking for input from other dieters who weigh between 160-170 - how many calories do you eat each day? I'm currently taking in between 1300-1500, but have not managed to take off even 1 pound over the last 3 weeks.

I've read that women shouldn't go below 1200, and I've used calorie calculators which say I could go much higher, but reading the posts here make me think that I'm using "good" numbers for safe weight loss.

I'm just looking for the experience of others. Anyone willing to share...thank you so much in advance!

Does height matter? If not...I eat 1500-1600 daily with one high day (CHEAT MEAL) weekly/bi-weekly at 2,000-2,200 cals for that day.

I've been doing this since day 1 and have never had to lower my calories or adjust my eating in the slightest!

Recently, I'm doing around 1600 calories, although my previous goal was 1500. I'm still losing weight but it's a lower carb diet, like SB offers.

My goal every day is to eat between 1200 and 1500 calories. Some days I don't get quite up to 1200 but I don't beat myself up about it because on those days I'm really just not hungry for more. I've averaged slightly over 1200 calories over the last month (and lost 10.4 lbs, which put me in the 150s). But I'm also not terribly active - only working out about 3-4 days per week for < 1 hr.

I'm eating 1300-1400 cals/day and losing pretty consistently, but hardly any of my calories are from flour or sugar.
